I reckon most of you ladies out there must have already heard about this overrated Make-Up Remover from Bioderma by now. By judging the post-title, it sounds pretty much what you needed for everything you're looking for. & to me, yes.
Personally, I hate using product that will leave a layer of (moisture/or/stickiness) residue on my face. Most of these products (/whether it is cleanser, toner, or moisturizer/) make my face look greasy & dull, instead of looking dewy & brightened for I don't know whatever that is. It's difficult to hunt for product that my skin would say -Yes- to.
I heard loads of good stuffs about this particular Make-Up remover... like, all over the internet. & I was thinking, just maybe, this would be what I was looking for back then, since oil-based remover, & creamy one fail.
I'm not a make-up junkie, so which meant to say, I don't put any Make-Up on whenever I'm out for shopping, or even hanging out with my friends. It's not due to my laziness, but it's the weather in here I'm living, & I have tendency to sweat a lot pretty easily. From time to time, I still do put them on whenever necessarily, like, for attending wedding ceremony, or just feel like doing it, nonetheless. Stepping out of my house with no track make-up on is simply okay to me, since majority of my time was spent on work & home, but not without my *Sunscreen. I'm not sure if it is necessary to remove sunscreen with a Make-Up remover, but it just makes me feel safer to do so.
What I really do love about this product is that it's purely(/partially/?) water, fragrance-free, & of course, *Alcohol-free. It can even be used on eye-areas, as it's so gentle.
I tried putting it on a test a few days back to determine whether it really does what it promise, or not, & found out that it didn't off take my Heroine Mascara at all. I mean, of course it really doesn't since my Heroine Mascara is water-proof, so any water-proof products should always be used with an oil-based remover. Please be reminded. ):
Other than that, I don't seem to have any trouble taking off the rest of my Make-Up by using this.
Now, speaking about the price. To be honest, it's rather pricy for such an amount of product contained in this bottle. If you're a heavy Make-Up user, it might be slightly pricier for you, since you need over a couple more wipes to fully take it all off, unless you're using a towelette right in the middle of removing to get it all done.
Furthermore, it doesn't cause any irritation to my face, & neither I have been breaking out from it, which is pretty good. I'm not so such if it's just me, or what, but my face starts to itch whenever I'm cleansing it with Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser right after removing my MakeUp with Bioderma. So, I have to switch it back to Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, & thankfully, it doesn't happen again.
I have a confession to make; I do get lazy at times. Which meant to say, I will jump right into my bed without cleansing my face(/that's if I didn't have any MakeUp on). I'm just way too exhausted to do anything else after a long & tiring work at night. Ever since I have gotten myself this thingy here, I have been relying it as a facial cleanser to keep it clean whenever I'm too lazy to wash my face with my Mia2. I tend to breakout easily, especially after a few nights of non-proper(/?) cleansing-routine, but not anymore.
Side Note: (*It is, & always will be, better to have a proper cleansing-routine.)
The good thing about it is that it can be used either as a MakeUp Remover, Toner, or as a Cleanser.
(All you have to do is just pour a desirable amount of product onto a cotton pad & wipe it. As simple as that, & you don't have to wash it off after wiping. The precise method you use when you're using a toner.)
I got mine from a local pharmacy store, Guardian for S$29.90.
Available at Watson's as well.
Before ending my post-entry, I would like to wish everyone a Happy 2014.
It's a brand new year; time to work even harder, & play even harder this year.
May this year be a successful year for everyone of us.
I will be blogging more often from now on, ;)
Apologies for being this long-winded.
